I would like to continue my journey by going to Soka University and major in Liberal arts with an option in environmental studies. Later on, I would like to go to law school and become an environmental lawyer, not working for big corporations but for non-profit organizations and represent the needs of ordinary people.
I think that now we need people with a good knowledge of legal information who can protect the environment and the lives of common citizens. Reading "An inconvenient truth", I just realized how indulgent and negligent we have become in terms of protecting our surroundings. And right now, the earth is so uncontrollable that it is very difficult for us to predict what is coming next. Scientists and researchers keep on warning us of the dangers but in the eye of politicians environmental affairs are not important.

The role of education is to foster role models who can benefit society at LARGE, not just a tiny bit of people. Education should also foster leaders who hold humanistic values for others and the environment. I believe there is an interconnectivity between the self and the environment, and I would like to include the ecosystem in it. If we stop treating each other like strangers, maybe we will start recognizing the humanity in us. As a result, we will take better actions to help others and to save the earth...Maybe it sounds like an utopia but a true philosophy of living is necessary to make those changes become true one day.

As to the entry, see if you can make them "bloggier," that is, add links or pictures of the places/people/things you are writing about (see my blog for ideas). It would have been nice to have a link to Soka University, for example.
It was impressed that when I read that you want to be lawyer who works for the non profit organizations and represent the needs of ordinary people. I agree what you said we need someone who has good knowledge of legal information to protect the environment because sometimes without legal information we can not figure out clear and right answer. And I hope your utopia comes true in short time.
We need people like you to fight for the enviroment try to get laws to protect the world. By passing laws people will need to have no choice but to do things to protect the enviroment. Your right that we need to do something quick for the enviroment. It real cool that you want to work for non profit organizations because they need help getting there voices heard.
You have very good writing skills but I think your blog should be more appealing and easy to read. Your about me column should be the first thing visibile so a person knows about you before reading your blog. Secondly, your class list has the addresses so try putting in the names. Finally, organize your pictures in your page.Good Luck!

I'm here to comment again, this time as an evaluation on your entire blog. I have 3 words for you...I LOVE IT! I really enjoy reading you blogs even when I do not make any comments. You are extremely intense with your writting and detail as well as your visual art work to back it up. What interested me the most was the remnents of the sugar cane! I also like that you have introduced us, the readers,to you personally. May I ask where is SOKA University exactly? Overall Clem, great job!
